 The LEYE Recruiting team is looking for a friendly, caring person to provide general clerical and administrative support to the team. Superior communication skills are essential for this full-time, entry-level Recruiting Administrative Assistant role: you’ll edit and post hiring ads, communicate with restaurant managers regarding ad requests, and handle all general phone and email inquiries for the department.

  • 2-3 years in the restaurant industry preferred
  • Skilled in written/verbal communication including a warm phone presence
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests while easily adapting to changing needs
  • Ability to work efficiently with an excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel 
  • Ability to maintain a caring, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Spanish Language skills (spoken or written) are a plus!

Job SummaryProvide administrative support for the Recruiting department, as well as the Human Resources department as needed. Essential Functions:
 
  • Develop and edit hiring ad text for hourly and salaried job openings
  • Post and submit hiring ads to online job boards, social sites, print publications, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment 
  • Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds
 Key Responsibilities and Duties:
 
  • Post hiring needs on LEYE application tracking systems
  • Respond to general recruiting calls and emails
  • Handle, assist or direct store calls pertaining to all Recruiting functions, as well as HR functions as needed
  • Proficiency in the use and operation of Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Assist in processing background checks
  • Communicate background check results of hourly candidates to GMs
  • Log and/or allocate recruiting charges to appropriate stores
  • Greet guests and notify proper party of office visitors
  • File documents related to the recruiting lifecycle on a weekly, monthly and/or annual basis 
  • Assist the Director of Recruiting and the Recruiting team with special projects
  • Contribute to team recruitment efforts on LinkedIn as needed
  • Provide backup for LEYE receptionist as needed
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook 
  • Get along well with others and act as a team player 
  • Other duties assigned as needed
