 Requirements:
  • 2 – 4 years of website development experience  
  • Knowledge of CMS including Wordpress 
  • Skilled in LAMP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, mySQL, PHP
  • Database management experience
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal clients and colleagues
  • Excellent time management skills

 Job SummaryDevelops and writes code for Company websites and web-related projects. Essential Functions
  • Work with internal clients and colleagues to discern, conceptualize and translate their vision into multiple options and present to team
  • Following Company standards and best practices, write well-designed, testable, efficient code within established deadlines and budgets, including (when required) matching visual design intent with other Company web and graphic designers 
  • Maintain, support, update, expand and scale a variety of existing Company websites and their respective backend systems, including website development (Wordpress, custom solutions, etc.)
  • Design and implement projects using LAMP, front-end (including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, SCSS/SASS/LESS etc.), javascript, mySQL / SQL database, PHP, and varied other programming methodologies
  • Follow web accessibility standards related to providing all website users with access to information and functionality in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act and other relevant laws and regulations
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment 
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
  • Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds 
  • Available to perform duties outside standard business hours on occasion as needed, including late nights and weekends
 Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Create and manage eBlasts and other email marketing collateral 
  • Work on eCommerce, custom apps, widgets and mobile-related development as needed/requested
  • Support Social Media team needs related to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
  • Integrate data from various backend service and databases
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of a diversity of emerging technologies, techniques and industry trends in online/digital marketing
  • Demonstrate knowledge of using APIs 
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
  • Implement and maintain CMS Development including Wordpress
  • Train, educate, and support management teams and marketing staff on respective websites’ CMS
  • Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment including MS Word and Excel
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Get along well with others and act as a team player
  • Other duties assigned as needed
