 You’re a Graphic Designer who likes working with other creative people, you love graphic design, you’re passionate about food, you’re first in line for a new restaurant, and you wake up with ideas. And you want to work at Lettuce. This may be for you! We’re interviewing for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join our in-house design team. The Lettuce Graphic Design team acts as an in-house agency to create print pieces for multiple brands within the Lettuce restaurant group.

  • Graphic Design BFA degree 
  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience in a creative, interactive or marketing agency
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud 2017
  • Ability to work proficiently on Macintosh platform
  • Skilled in time management to prioritize assignments and work through tight deadlines
  • Strong conceptual and visualization skills
  • Strong communication skills 
 Any illustration or photography experience a plus.

  POSITION SUMMARY: Will conceptualize, design, update and produce branded graphic applications for Lettuce Entertain You Corporate and all Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants. Such applications include but are not limited to: identity design, print collaterals, menus, advertisements, brochures, packaging and signage. Will work with graphic design manager, graphic design team, web team, Lettuce Entertain You partners, restaurant personnel, corporate staff and vendors to bring design projects to fruition. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties will be assigned as needed)Must be willing and able to do the following: 
  • Create and revise graphic content with Apple computer-based tools -- Adobe Creative Suite 3
  • Manage print production process with vendors for cost, quality product & timely delivery             
  • Print all materials that are to be produced in house
  • Occasional development of content for web and video application
  • Occasional light errands:  to and from restaurants, paper suppliers, printers, etc.
  • Understand LEYE and LEYE restaurants brand image and incorporate them into designs 
  • Take training classes in new graphic design technologies, when appropriate
  • Time management of projects, communication of timelines and follow-up
  • Recording of hours spent on each project
  • Work closely with marketing department to integrate marketing efforts
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Understand and complete all duties as assigned
  • Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude every shift
  • Accept direction and constructive criticism from management
  • Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment
  • Complete projects as assigned in a timely manner
