Requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience with app development  
  • Experienced with Objective-C, iOS SDK, Java, and Android SDK
  • Experienced with following Agile methodology
  • Skilled in integrating data from backend service and databases
  • Ability to utilize project management tools to track progress, priorities, releases
  • Excellent time management skills

Job Summary
Write and maintain well-designed, testable, efficient code for all mobile applications and backend infrastructure. 
 
Essential Functions
  • Write and maintain well-designed, testable, efficient code for all mobile applications and backend infrastructure
  • Meet daily and weekly with the App Development Team to review progress and upcoming work following an Agile methodology
  • Integrate data from various backend service and databases
  • Use and further develop knowledge of Application Programming Interfaces / APIs and mobile applications including but not limited to security, accessibility (ADA compliance), analytics and technical skills including but not limited to Objective-C, iOS SDK, Java, and Android SDK
  • Create and manage stories to track progress, priorities and releases via the project management tools
  • Fix bugs to improve application performance
  • Manage source control and automated build processes
  • Rapidly learn and master diverse mobile technologies and techniques in a deadline-driven environment
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment 
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
  • Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds 
  • Available to perform duties outside standard business hours on occasion as needed, including evenings and weekends
 
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain, expand and scale LettuceEats mobile application 
  • Collaborate with web and graphic designers to match visual design intent
  • Develop and maintain test-driven codebase for edge cases, usability and general reliability
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of a diversity of emerging technologies, techniques and industry trends in online/digital marketing 
  • Work on eCommerce, custom apps, widgets and mobile-related development as needed/requested
  • Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment including MS Word and Excel
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Get along well with others and act as a team player
