Seeking a Recruiter to Join Our Corporate Team! Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is looking for an experienced Recruiter who is engaging and outgoing…someone who easily creates rapport with people, yet knows how to “dig” and discover the real person beneath the interview nerves and first impressions.  As a Lettuce Recruiter, you’ll be a part of a close-knit Recruiting team while working independently to source and recruit for a variety of LEYE partners, managers, and chefs at 100+ restaurants. Will you need a sense of urgency?   • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • Proven proficiency in outbound recruitment sourcing methods 
  • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline drive environment 
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly, flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels of hiring managers with a variety of communication styles
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Internet-based programs 
 Any restaurant management or hourly position experience is preferred.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to all aspects of recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of salaried positions at 100+ restaurants and our corporate office.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Assist the recruiting team in the screening and interviewing of management, corporate, and intern applicants. Responsible for all aspects of full recruitment life cycle to include screening, interviewing, coordination of partner interviews, testing, reference checks and verbal offers.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties will be assigned as needed)Must be willing and able to do the following:
  • Assess and promptly act on the hiring needs of partners and managers.
  • Develop strong partner and manager relationships through effective communication and follow through.
  • Collaborate with recruiting team on active posting strategies and candidate progress to fill LEYE needs.
  • Create and post employment ads on job boards as needed.
  • Source leads for potential candidates through both passive and active applicant sources and referrals.
  • Attend Open House/Career Fairs as needed. 
  • Learn and utilize the applicant tracking system in the recruitment of internal and external candidates.
  • Complete and ensure that all steps of the standard hiring process along with all necessary record keeping within the ATS are in place for compliance. 
  • Review and visually screen all applicant resumes.
  • Phone screen applicants via telephone or video technology.
  • Interview potential candidates by telephone, video technology or in person.
  • Present appropriate candidates to partners and managers.
  • Assist with the outside recruiter candidate registration process and tracking as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with outside recruiters on the status of their candidates.
  • Administer background and testing information to candidates.
  • Evaluate, interpret and communicate background and testing results of candidates to partners.
  • Complete and communicate applicant’s reference checks.
  • Work with other recruiting team members to create our Social Media strategy.
  • Learn a working knowledge of Social Media platforms.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
  • Take messages for department members as required.
  • Assist team in maintaining a clean and orderly reception area.
  • Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all applicants, employees, managers, partners, corporate staff and coworkers.
  • Communicate in English in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.
  • Perform more than one task at a time.
  • Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude every shift.
  • Accept direction and constructive criticism from management.
  • Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment.
  • Be available to work a variety of days and shifts, including weekends and increased work schedules.
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  GENERAL RULES Must be willing and able to do the following:
  • Get along with others and be a team player.
  • Follow all uniform and appearance guidelines as befitting the image for the position and the Corporate Office.
  • Refrain from smoking for the duration of the shift.
  • Arrive to work on time and in ready to work condition.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • May not work under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drugs.
  • May not resort to any type of violence, discriminatory or harassing behavior.
  • Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test within 90 days of hire date, where applicable.
